Maths is the subject where revision technique matters most, because it is almost entirely a doing subject. Reading a worked solution feels productive and teaches you very little; the understanding arrives when you attempt a question and get stuck.
The syllabus splits into number, algebra, geometry, probability and statistics, and they are not equally weighted in your revision time. Algebra underpins almost everything else — weak algebra shows up later as lost marks in geometry, in graphs and in anything involving rearranging a formula. If your algebra is shaky, start there whatever else is on the list.
Method marks are the most commonly forfeited marks in the subject, and they are free. An answer with no working scores nothing if it is wrong, where the same wrong answer with clear working can score most of the marks. Write every line down.
